Spreading Peace to Those Who Need It Most. In this article, we will delve into ways to bring peace and love to the enlightened souls around us.
"Peter approached Jesus and asked, 'Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?' Jesus answered, 'I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.'" Matthew 18:21-22
As human beings, we possess a unique and powerful ability: the ability to create fair conditions for everyone.
How can we bring peace to those who need it most? By reflecting on our interactions with others and recognizing the significance of God's presence in these interactions, we can discover unique opportunities in our daily lives to connect with the Holy Spirit.
In our hectic daily routines, we often find ourselves caught in a cycle that pushes us forward, like a flock rushing toward its daily meal. But have we ever paused to truly observe our surroundings?
"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love." 2 Peter 1:5-7
The relentless pace at which we live is unhealthy, driving us into an endless race. This blindness prevents us from seeing what truly matters and deserves our attention.
Yet, sometimes we encounter individuals who have faced hardships, living through circumstances they never planned or imagined. In those moments, let us remember the example Jesus set on the Cross, an example that should inspire us daily.
Unless we focus on those who need help the most, we cannot fulfill the mission God has entrusted to us. The question we must ask ourselves is: "How can I help?" Often, a simple gesture, like a compassionate look, financial assistance, a meal, or a word of encouragement, can make a significant difference and help us feel aligned with our Heavenly Father's guidance.
"And the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: 'You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.'" Luke 3:22
In times of doubt, we turn to God's Word, for only He understands humanity like no other and always has an answer for everything. Reflecting on this, we must acknowledge that we have lost sight of our true purpose.
Our values have been distorted by various influences, leading us to prioritize our own goals over the well-being of others. Such attitudes are unworthy of God's children and often breed negative feelings like pride and greed.
"This is what the Lord Almighty said: 'Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.'" Zechariah 7:9-10
It is crucial to remember how God helped us when we were like beggars in need of His love and grace. God extended His healing hand and opened His heart to welcome us in times of need. Therefore, when faced with difficult situations, we should ask ourselves: "What would God do in this case?"
This question will guide us toward a path of compassion, love, and mutual support, building a new and positive life in alignment with divine will.
Remember that Jesus came to Earth to open the hearts of the sons and daughters of the Heavenly Father. Never forget that the Son of God walked among mortals, guiding and imparting eternal teachings.
