This month offers us a special chance to reconnect with opportunities. Discover how to recognize them in the following article, so you can navigate life in peace.
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." 1 John 5:14
The silences of God, those moments when He is quiet for some reason, often serve to draw us closer to Him. These are, of course, times of crisis, need, and tribulation, and the very desire for an answer moves us to seek Him and approach Him in a special way.
The times when God is silent in our lives help improve our relationship with Him, prompting us to seek Him more, be closer to Him, and understand that without Him, we are nothing and can do nothing, but with Him, we are victorious.
Perhaps today we are facing a difficult moment where we long for an answer from God and instead receive a deafening silence, a silence we do not understand and that sometimes even leads to despair. Yet, even in the midst of this, we know very well that the best option is not to run away but to seek Him more.
"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3
The only thing we can do when He is silent is to keep talking to Him, keep believing in Him, and keep trusting in His answers. Despite the silence that may be present at this moment, God is still on our side.
God does not remain silent to frustrate us or annoy us. He has reasons beyond our understanding, but when the time comes, they leave us with amazing lessons.
"Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God." Psalm 42:11
I am sure that in the midst of this silence from God, we are learning something new. I am sure that in the midst of His silence, we are seeking Him more. Perhaps we have improved our relationship with Him, perhaps we are dedicating more of our lives to His service, perhaps our faith is growing, or many other things that we do not notice at the moment, but are nonetheless happening in our lives.
He is working; He may be silent, but He is always at work. God never remains static; He is always carrying out His perfect plan for our lives, and that should be reason enough to keep believing, to keep waiting, and not to despair, for He will never let us down.
Today, let's try to remain calm in the midst of this crisis, continue waiting in the midst of this desperation. God may be silent, but He never forgets. He is aware of our situation; nothing escapes Him, and even if we think things are out of control, God has everything under control and measured. His silence may be present, but His powerful hand is in control of everything happening in our lives.
God will never abandon us, because that has never been His way. On the contrary, His way is to always surprise us with answers we never imagined, answers that are perfect in both form and timing.
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13
Sometimes we believe that every time we pray, we will receive an answer from God, but the reality is that often His response will simply be temporary silence.
Sometimes we go through moments in life where we need an answer from God, but all we receive is silence, as if He has left us or simply does not want to respond. Sometimes God knows that His silence is necessary in our lives for us to put everything in order.
