Always Remembering His Love

Always Remembering His Love

When we look at examples in our daily lives, we can understand that our path has always been and will continue to be illuminated by miracles.

"Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son." 1 John 5:10

Often, we find ourselves in situations where we hear a story or receive information from someone we don't know. How much can we trust the information in such a story? What feelings arise within us when we are unfamiliar with the source of the message? Imagine if the person is someone we barely know. How can we build trust in that moment with someone who wants to inform or persuade us about a situation?

"The way of God is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He shields all who take refuge in him." Psalm 18:30

This is one of the most common and challenging experiences in life. Relying solely on someone else's words or testimony to build trust or a connection can be difficult. This may be due to past negative experiences that have created an emotional defense against lies or mistreatment, or simply a natural distrust that exists among humans.

This is why there is an incredible capacity for response to Faith and the Holy Spirit. There is no explanation that fully describes the power and mercy of our Heavenly Father, but it is His light that breaks down walls of distrust. His love penetrates the hearts of the most skeptical. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ showed us the value of His Word on Earth.

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Proverbs 4:23

What does it mean that God is more trustworthy than the people around us? Is He more deserving of our trust and His Word than our peers?

Of course, we must be able to trust the words of those around us who share our Faith. As faithful followers of God, we do not doubt His teachings, as we place our Faith in the Holy Spirit and dedicate ourselves to following His commandments and guidance to fulfill the divine mission.

We join our hands in prayer to remember that He is there, listening to our prayers, accompanying us on our journey through life. He provides us with various trials to help us navigate our limited but necessary learning. His help and illumination will appear in different forms, and it is up to each of us to recognize them, learn, and embrace the Holy Spirit.

"Father, I do not want to make you a liar, and it says here that if I do not believe the testimony you give about the Son, I am making you a liar, but that is not what I wish to do." 1 John 5:13

The trust we must build and extend to others is the same trust we already have with our Heavenly Father. It flows from our hearts, as everything planted there since time immemorial contributes to strengthening bonds of confidence. Past experiences, acquired knowledge, the education we received, and the upbringing from our parents all form our belief system, fundamentally supported by the Holy Spirit and our Faith in God.
