Every day we begin brings both the responsibility and the opportunity to create a new and unique world where we can find happiness. In this article, we will explore ways to manifest our intentions.
"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-19
If we understand that upon waking, we should express gratitude and maintain an attitude of thankfulness towards the life we are living, we will encounter different opportunities throughout the day and our lives. The Lord will always guide us with His eternal wisdom, drawing near through life examples and scenarios that help expand our spirit, shaping our hearts, and nurturing thoughts of goodness along the path of the Holy Spirit.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
Place your mind and intentions ahead of those superficial and material desires that do not aid in healing. Try to see beyond the obvious and remember all the teachings Jesus shared during His journey. The Bible serves as our reference material and a life manual that illuminates each step. We have many advantages and qualities to be thankful for in this life. That should be the first step every morning: to give thanks. Feel the blessings of the Heavenly Father warming our hearts. Connect in prayer with His essence, living life to the fullest.
"I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds." Psalm 9:1
It is not happiness that makes us grateful; it is gratitude towards the Lord that makes us happy.
We all know people who have everything they need to be happy, yet they are not, simply because they are not grateful for what they have. Conversely, we also know people who are not fortunate at all, yet they appear happy, simply because they feel accompanied by the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly Father.
Don't you think, then, that gratitude is the key to happiness? Today, Jesus invites you to connect with Faith and your inner self in gratitude.
"You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God." 2 Corinthians 9:11
Allow good things to be drawn into your life, elevate your spirit, and reconcile your being with Faith. It is both easy and difficult at the same time, yet it is a simple act of profound depth to draw near to the Lord and the Holy Spirit. Perhaps you haven't fully appreciated the importance of this proposal. Reflect on it, observe the reasons around you to pursue it, and you will see a new path open in your daily existence. Make the necessary mental shift to deepen your connection with the Heavenly Father: He has a perfect plan ready for your life.
