Lord, give me the strength to persevere in prayer, like Joshua did, with surety and patience because you are the Living God that fights my battles. Forgive me for being doubtful and thinking that you take your time to answer my prayers. I know that you hear me even when my sadness is deep. Heavenly Father, don't make it easy for me to live by sight and not by faith, so teach me to wait on your perfect time.
