All man is God's enemy, that is why they need forgiveness and reconciliation. God offers it to any who repent of their faults and believe Jesus died on the cross to make possible that forgiveness. Being enemies, we were reconciled with God through the death of His Son. As the believer knows God's forgiveness, he is ready to forgive those who harm him. It is often a painful procedure, but the grace of God heals the heart and the mind.
