Taking a Journey with a Destination of Eternal Life

This is the time to take a journey to a Universal healing destination. Explore the following article and read through the following verses for inspiration.

"Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared." Proverbs 22:24-25

Incorporating the Lord as our life partner gives us the assurance that we are not alone. It empowers us to understand the situations and contexts we face in our day to day lives.

The closer we get to the Holy Spirit, the more the light will shine in our hearts. Our inner being will feel more balanced and at peace, and our spirituality will be deeply connected to Faith.

Jesus taught us, together with his disciples, how, as the Son of God, he would free us from fear and sin, thus becoming our eternal friend and companion in life.

"When Job’s three friends, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite, heard about all the troubles that had come upon him, they set out from their homes and met together by agreement to go and sympathize with him and comfort him." Job 2:11

His display of friendship in laying down his life for each of the Lord's sons and daughters was a supreme act of love and self-giving.

His example is in keeping with his spirit, revealing the truth of God's Word in our hearts.

Heavenly Father will always watch us closely, guiding us and showing us the way to enlightenment through people, examples and circumstances of life.

"For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers." Proverbs 11:14

We will find numerous examples in the Bible that demonstrate how God directs us as faithful followers. Recognizing that as sons and daughters of the Lord, we have much to learn and much to give to those who need it most.

In this way, by setting an example with our actions, we will connect the Holy Word with our life decisions. We will remain in communion with the Holy Spirit as long as we keep our hearts open and ready to celebrate life. In prayer, we will have a close confidant and counselor.

Jesus is not just a historical figure or a religious leader. He is a friend, a confidant, a guide and a savior who invites us to walk with him. Encountering Jesus on the path of life is the best decision we can make, a decision that will lead us to true happiness and fulfillment.

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up." Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Jesus' life invites us to be instruments of his love in the world. By following in his footsteps and acting with compassion, generosity and forgiveness, we reflect his light in our actions and contribute to building a better world. Let us think of the parable of the Good Samaritan, where Jesus teaches us to love our neighbor regardless of race, religion or social condition.

In the Lord we find a trusted confidant, an omnipresent being who knows our innermost secrets and longings. We can place our doubts, fears and needs in him, confident that his infinite mercy will protect us and give us the comfort we need. Let us remember the story of Peter, who despite denying Jesus three times, was forgiven and restored by his love.

Embracing Jesus as our life companion is a decision that transforms our existence, filling it with meaning, peace and hope. In Him we find the guidance, love and strength we need to navigate the turbulent waters of life, confident that His guiding hand will lead us to a glorious destiny.
